Before October ends, more K-pop comebacks are set to take place in the last week and these will involve new music from either idol groups and soloists. Among these artists are NCT 127, Epik High, BOL4, Jeon Somi, and more!

NCT 127 – ‘Favorite’

NCT’s sub-unit is the first runner to return to the music scene next week. On Oct. 25, NCT 127 will release the repackaged version of their third full album, titled “Favorite.”

The repackaged album’s title track, also called “Favorite,” is an R&B pop dance song with an addictive signature whistle sound and rich harmonic vocals.

Epik High – ‘FACE ID’

EPIK HIGH FACE ID

Epik High will also be coming back with a new album, particularly their tenth full album “EPIK HIGH IS HERE | PART 2.” Prior to that, they will drop a pre-release single, titled “FACE ID” on Oct. 25.

Epik High’s “FACE ID” will feature three South Korean rappers, namely Giriboy, Justhis and Sik-k. Member Tablo said that their upcoming song is fast-paced and unique, plus it has a punk vibe.

Next is EPEX’s comeback, which is scheduled for Oct. 26. The new K-pop boy group will release their second EP “Bipolar Pt.2 Prelude of Love,” which will be their first release in four months since their debut EP.

The album’s title song “Do 4 Me” is a funk-pop song that expresses complex emotions and the bold confession of a boy who fell in love for the first time.

BOL4 – ‘Butterfly Effect’

Another K-pop comeback to expect on Oct. 26 is from BOL4. The soloist will drop a new digital single, titled “Butterfly Effect.” This single will feature two songs: “Butterfly Effect” and “You Were My World.”

Like her previous albums, both songs were written and composed by BOL4 Ahn Jiyoung, together with Vanilla Man who has been participating in co-composing and arranging songs by the solo artist.

Secret Number – ‘Fire Saturday’

Another rookie group to make release new music is the girl group Secret Number. They will drop a new single, titled “Fire Saturday,” on Oct. 27.

Secret Number’s “Fire Saturday” will mark the group’s first comeback in about a year since “Got That Boom” in November of last year.

Moreover, this will be the group’s first comeback with the two new members: Zuu and Minji. However, Denise won’t be able to participate due to contract negotiation matters.

Ailee – ‘AMY’

Ailee’s comeback this October will be her first in two years. On the 27th, she will release her third full album, “AMY,” which will contain 12 songs. The female soloist took part in writing the lyrics for several songs from this album.

Many fans are paying attention to the spectacular return of Ailee, who has released numerous hit songs such as “You and I,” “Heaven,” “I Will Show You,” and more.

October 28 will be Park Jihoon’s comeback with his fifth mini-album “Hot & Cold.” This album is about the clash between lovers and the process of maturation.

The album’s title song, “Serious,” is a hip-hop-based pop dance track with a three-dimensional composition centered on heavy synth bass. It expresses a side of love that is not sweet.

The last rookie group on the list of K-pop comebacks in the upcoming week is DKB. The boy group will release their first single album “ROLLERCOASTER” on Oct. 28.

Since their debut, DKB’s albums dealt with various forms of love and separation of the youth, as well as the story of their growth. Attention is focused on what kind of message the music will present.

After releasing her new single “DUMB DUMB” in early August, Jeon Somi is making a comeback with her first full album “XOXO” on Oct. 29.

In this album, Jeon Somi’s previous songs “Birthday,” “Outta My Head,” “What You Waiting For,” and “DUMB DUMB” will be included alongside four new songs.
