On September 25 KST, the Korean Business Research Institute announced the brand reputation rankings for singers for the month of September.
The basis of the rankings are from the total brand reputation index that included the analysis of media coverage, consumer participation, communication, and community awareness indexes of singers from the big data collected from August 25 to September 25.
The big data gathered for September is 147,220,904, an increase of 16.51 percent from the 126,359,012 gathered back in August.
Taking the top spot in the brand reputation rankings for the month of September is global superstars, BTS! According to the Korean Business Research Institute, BTS has a total brand reputation index of 13,793,731, with a media index of 3,532,873, a consumer participation index of 2,823,402, a communication index of 3,607,836, and a community index of 3,829,620.

Compared to BTS’ brand reputation index of 11,754,553 back in August, they saw an increase of 17.35 percent this month.

Lim Young Woong, BLACKPINK, Lee Chan Won, and NCT are the Top 5 Most Popular Singers in September
Taking the second place as the most popular singer in September is trot singer, Lim Young Woong! For this month, the “My Starry Love” singer has a total brand reputation index of 13,279,255, with a media index of 3,735,416, a consumer participation index of 3,743,666, a communication index of 3,061,233, and a community index of 2,738,941.

With Lim Young Woong’s brand reputation index at 13,279,255 this month, he saw an increase of 18.44 percent as compared to the 11,211,913 back in August.
Coming in at third place is YG Entertainment’s top girl group, BLACKPINK, who has a brand reputation index of 13,185,842. For the month of September, BLACKPINK has a media index of 2,826,205, a consumer participation index of 1,531,626, a communication index of 3,835,240, and a community index of 4,992,771.

This month, BLACKPINK saw an increase of a whopping 207.05 percent from their brand reputation index of 4,294,381 in August.

Another trot singer making their way up the charts is Lee Chan Won at No. 4. He was analyzed with a brand reputation index of 7,406,788, and has a media index of 1,512,359, a consumer participation index of 2,492,451, a communication index of 1,212,461, and a community index of 2,189,517.

Back in August, Lee Chan Won had a brand reputation index of 6,131,800, making him have an increase of 20.79 percent.
SM Entertainment’s record-breaking boy group, NCT, is the fifth most popular singer for the month of September. This month, NCT has a total brand reputation index of 6,024,589, with a media index of 1,690,538, a consumer participation index of 1,442,635, a communication index of 1,450,262, and a community index of 1,441,154.

Just like BLACKPINK, NCT saw a three-digit increase from their August results, with their brand reputation index having an increase of 308.06 percent compared to an index of 1,472,787 in August.
