“O.O” officially arrived on Feb. 22 at 6 p.m. KST alongside NMIXX’s debut single album “AD MARE,” meaning it took only six days for the song to garner that impressive total number of views.

With this, NMIXX’s “O.O” MV becomes the third-fastest debut music video by a K-pop group in history to surpass 40 million views on YouTube, following aespa’s “Black Mamba” and ITZY’s “DALLA DALLA.”

ITZY’s “DALLA DALLA” first held the record for fastest K-pop group debut MV to attain the 40-million mark, doing so in only three days and five hours. But, aespa’s “Black Mamba” broke this record after scoring the feat in only three days and three hours.
Reportedly, NMIXX’s debut MV surpassed 20 million views in just one day of release and hit 30 million views in four days. The music video even entered YouTube’s trending music videos.

NMIXX’s ‘O.O’ MV Sets Multiple YouTube Records in First 24 Hours of Release
In its first 24 hours of release, “O.O” was trending at No. 1 on the platform worldwide and in at least 40 countries, including South Korea. It remained inside the top 5 on the list of trending MVs worldwide for three days until Feb. 26.
Moreover, NMIXX’s “O.O” MV was the most-viewed K-pop music video on both Feb. 26 and 27. It has also debuted on YouTube’s Global Top Music Videos for the week of Feb. 18 to 24 at No. 30 with 9.2 million views.
In the same week, “O.O” debuted at No. 26 on YouTube South Korea’s Top Songs Chart with 661,000 views.
